In a new analytical report for the automotive industry the headquarters of Lincoln say that the new pick-up Ford F-Series will appear in 2015, the year, while Lincoln’s lineup in the next few years will grow as well. This report is made by experts from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, who published an annual report on “Car Wars” with a number of predictions on the growth of market shares for different brands, the average age of models and forecasts of the cost models.

The total forecast of the U.S. bank is that more and more manufacturers will move from the creation of meaningful, unique models to more frequent updating of medium, mass cars, hoping to maintain high profit margins. Therefore a great potential for Lincoln with their great emphasis of the emotional side of the car is open now. The report gives quite a lot of different data, but we are interested in some specific comments. For example, Bank of America expects that Ford will put major revision of 46% of its models in 2015, the year. The result of that action is going to be expressed in the emergence of a new pickup F-Series, the all-new mid-size crossover Ford Edge which can be compared to the Lincoln MKX, and a new sports car Ford Mustang. Another 20% of the models will be updated by the year 2016, the year where such great models as Ford Taurus, Ford Fiesta and the Lincoln MKS will be already greatly expended.
