Lincoln Is Going to Have Semi-automatic Parking System

Ford auto concern has been very innovative lately in terms of developing new systems, which would help its car owners and make their driving experience easier and more relaxing and enjoyable. In such a way, it also implements new developments into the Lincoln cars and their systems of operations. Thus a lately developed semi-automatic parking system, which was created for Ford cars, has been adjusted to fit the model of a luxury Lincoln line.

Specialists from the American Ford Motor Company developed a system for parking assistance, which is called Active Park Assist. This system is capable of performing the semi-automatically parking, including the so-called parallel parking. This system is going to be available as an option for the first time for the Lincoln MKT crossover and sedan Lincoln MKS.

The Active Park Assisting System is easily activated by simply pressing the buttons in the cabin of the car. After it is turned on, the system with the use of modern ultrasonic sensors located at the front and back areas of the vehicle, while driving along a row of parked cars will look for the necessary space for the car. This is going to ease the process without any doubts.
