Concern Ford decided to rather extraordinary step back in August 12 2010. At the auction RM’s Sports & Classic of Monterey Americans from Ford put up for sale five concept cars of Lincoln. This was done not because Ford was in urgent need of money, but for quite a noble reason – for charity, as all proceeds from the sale of vehicles were listed in the Diabetes Research Foundation and The Children’s Center of Michigan.

It is worth to say that out of five of the lots presented there were only two of the particular interest to collectors, at best: a huge (3.02 m wheelbase) all-wheel drive sport coupe 2001 Lincoln MK9 coupe and Lincoln Mark X from 2004, carried out on the grounds and in the aggregate base Ford Thunderbird. Lincoln MK9 was equipped with eight-cylinder motor, automatic transmission and has a plush interior trim. Americans expect to get for the car about $ 75 000 – 100 000.
