No wonder the modern world demands from the auto makers to make some changes in the production of the cars they are involved in. Not only that people become more and more socially responsible ones, but also automakers themselves are interested in pushing the cars, which correspond with the future development of the technology. Therefore, we are going to look today at the way the Lincoln cars are getting an electric engine and how this integration process is held.

Lincoln Company is considering to extend the range of modifications of the models due to the “charged” versions, meaning the ones with the electric or hybrid engines. This was first reported by the U.S. car publication Car and Driver, specifying that the final decisions on the issue of such vehicles have not yet been made. All in all, the decision most probably is going to be implemented, as this is the major consumer trend all over the world.

The headquarters of Lincoln expects that the appearance in the series of the “charged” cars will enhance the image of a premium brand of the products, since the models of other luxury brands – Cadillac, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz – already have such modifications. What kind of cars the company Lincoln considered to create based on their “hot” version is not yet known.
