As our readers may remember, we were presenting the news about the Lincoln and Ford selling the old concepts of the Lincoln Company on the auction. As we have learned, this action not so long ago was devoted to the fact, that Lincoln wanted to cut off with the past and step into the car business all fresh and new. Even though it was difficult for everyone to say goodbye to the old concepts, they had to be sold, because they were somewhat a stumble point for the company.

Similarly to the other old concepts, the most young concept of the Lincoln company at the auction back there was Lincoln MKS sedan produced in 2005. In difference from the serial Lincoln MKS, who had gone into production in 2008, the concept has a more powerful engine (4.4 liters, 315 hp), but the exterior and the interior is almost standard. At that time, the standard interior meant the artificial leather in the design of the seats and plastic parts for the panel. The price gained on the auction was respective to the car, the producers asked for the $40 000 but the bidders were able to raise it up to $60 000.

At this time, the concept sold is interesting not only in terms of its value to the company, but also because the MKS model has been modified and many believe that the new version of this concept came to us in the new generation of the Lincoln MKZ car.
