Lincoln Group Has Its First Hybridmobil

As the Lincoln company is not so known for the usage of forefront technologies, the headquarters of this car concern decided to break this view and created a new hybridmobil for their company. On the last day before the Auto Show in New York – Lincoln gave to the public its first car with hybrid – sedan MKZ Hybrid. Company Ford, which owns the brand Lincoln, holds for the model MKZ very high expectations.

Novelty is equipped with 2.5-liter gasoline engine and a small metal Atkinson-nickel motor. The total capacity of the power plant is 191 hp, there also comes the transmission eCVT. Through the use of a hybrid engine, the car now has a fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers. The nearest competitor of Lincoln MKZ is a new Lexus 250h – the model has reached the result of consumption of only 6.5 liters. MKZ can move solely on electric power, the speed will be as high as 75 km/h. At Lexus 250h – 40 km/h, respectively.
