The reincarnation of the marketing in Lincoln is going with its full potential, which is due to the new person in the office, about which will be our today’s article. At the same time, we have to mention the fact that the Lincoln company does all of that in order to push their newly developed models – MKT and MKS, on which the great mission of pulling the company back to top lies. That is why marketing side is crucial in this context.

U.S. carmaker Ford Motor Co. finally appointed the head of marketing for the company’s Lincoln Mercury. Note that the position had been vacant since the summer of 2008. Marketing manager for Lincoln and Mercury brands is named CJ O’Donnell, who previously worked in the company of Jaguar as Director of International Marketing (March 2007). Interestingly enough, Jaguar is one of the greatest competitors of the Lincoln brand.

According to Ford spokesman Robert Parker, the Group expects that the CJ O’Donnell will not let to die this last premium brand of the large Ford corporation – Lincoln. Recall that in the last ten years, sales of the brand fell by more than two times: including the fact that American consumers are increasingly preferring Japanese and German cars.
